Mayor Blake Sanders with the WPE Goal Post Students

On Friday December 2, 2016 approximately 70 students from West Pelzer Elementary’ s Goal Post Program walked down Main Street to Chapman Park to decorate Town Hall’s Christmas Tree.  Throughout November students hand painted all the ornaments!  Before decorating students enjoyed milk and cookies with Mayor Blake Sanders, Councilman Jim Riddle and Town Clerk Paula Payton.  The students ornaments can be seen at Town Hall (3 Hindman Street) December 3rd through January 3rd.  Once the ornaments are removed from the tree the Town encourages parents to bring their child by Town Hall to pick up their ornament.  Town Hall hours are Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-12pm.
